Gabrielle Rul

France • 1995 | Lives and works in Paris

Multi-disciplinary artist and model, Gabrielle Rul graduated from the Studio Berçot fashion design school. Rather than clothing, which she perceives as a camouflage, it’s the personality of people that she finds fascinating, expressed through their gaze. Thus, it’s faces and eyes that Gabrielle starts to draw during the long hours of casting waiting.

With a light and continuous stroke, often in black and white, sometimes sprinkled with a touch of color, she gently and spontaneously strokes the white paper of cyclo backgrounds, expressing, in ink, pastel, or watercolor, her own stories that anyone can relate to. Her work is inspired by life events, the situations she encounters, and the people she meets, blended with childhood memories. Heavily influenced by her Vietnamese grandmother, who was agile with her hands and highly creative, Gabrielle trusts her instincts and experiences to unleash her imagination.

Gabrielle has notably collaborated with Maison Pierre Frey, l’Exception, and Moleskine. Her work is part of the collections of the Imago Mundi Foundation and Moleskin Foundation. Her murals have been seen in hospitals such as the CHU de Saint Maurice, the facade of the Origines restaurant, and stores such as Free People and Moleskine.

We recommend storing your print flat in an acid free archival paper.  We recommend you speak to a professional framer for the best solutions for maintaining your print.

Thank you for your purchase! To ensure that your print arrives in perfect condition, please follow the instructions below for unpacking:

Locate the tab at one end of the tape and gently pull the tape from the packaging paper. Be careful not to rip the paper or the print inside. We do not recommend using a utility knife or any other sharp tool to cut the tape and/or the paper. Do not attempt to remove the print from the packaging paper without first removing the tape.

Unroll the print from the packaging paper onto a flat surface. We recommend placing a heavy object on each corner as you unroll your print to help flatten the curled edges in preparation for storage or framing.

Please note that Collectible-Prints is not responsible for damages caused by reckless unpacking.

· Delivery times can vary according to the item ordered and its destination. Please allow up to 30 days for delivery maximum !

We strive to process and ship orders within 3-5 business days of your purchase. Once your order is prepared for shipment, we’ll send you an email with your tracking number. Shipping rates are based on your shipping address, package size, and value, and we always use the lowest cost shipping carriers available. International customers are responsible for any Duty and Tax assessed by customs in their respective countries.

We want to ensure that you receive your artworks in perfect condition, but if your order arrives damaged or if it’s been lost, please follow the steps below:

If your artwork arrives damaged or blemished, simply decline to take the package or please send photos of the damaged, shipping tube, and your shipping label to open damage claim immediately with the shipping company. You must signal immediatly if there is any doubt of damaged or blemished when you received the package to the carrier. Once the claim is approved, we will send you a store credit in the form of a gift card. The process typically takes about a week from the date you initiated your claim with the shipping company. Please share as well with us the photos of the damaged artwork and the inspection note from the shipper company to orders@collectible-prints.fr within 14 days from the date you received the item. Please note that Collectible-Prints is not responsible for damaged artwork after 14 days of receipt.

If your package has been lost, please email us at orders@collectible-prints.fr. To receive a store credit in the form of a gift card, we must be notified of damages or lost items no later than 14 days from the delivery date.
